Last Saturday I had the pleasure of Captaining the Strava team in the west coast edition of the Rapha Gentlemen’s Race. It was likely the hardest day I’ve spent on a bike. Over 8hrs in 85 degree high desert heat, climbing 10k+ feet (the first 50miles were climbing, 25 of those on fireroad). We did fair in the standings, many teams DNF, but we mostly had a ton of fun and met other cool folks who are just as crazy as ourselves. This race comes highly recommended. If you ever get an invite, don’t pass it up!
